BCL Copper Mine Limited owns and operates the BCL Open Cast Copper Mine located in Selebi-Phikwe District in Botswana.The Mine which commenced operations in 2021 is situated approximately 560 kilometres North of the Capital City of Gaborone.It is located along the road connecting Francistown to Nata.
BCL Mine sits on an area of approximately 58.1 square kilometres and comprises an existing Open Cast mine, characterised by two distinct limbs (the East and South Limbs) and a processing Plant with a capacity to process up to 2.4 million tonnes per annum.
